Can you share a time when you had to think outside the box to overcome a challenging situation with a customer, and how did your unconventional approach ultimately strengthen your relationship with them?
One time, a customer was unhappy with the product they purchased and wanted a refund, but our company policy didn't allow for refunds in that situation. Instead of sticking to the policy, I offered to exchange the product for a different one that better suited their needs. This unconventional approach showed the customer that we valued their satisfaction above all else, and they ended up being extremely grateful for the personalized solution. This experience ultimately strengthened our relationship with the customer as they felt heard and valued, leading to them becoming a loyal repeat customer.
